Don't let the candle burn when you're not around. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Not edible. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition.
Wooden wicks, as they are less flammable than traditional rope or cotton wicks, could go out shortly after the first lighting of the candle. Make sure the flame is bright and the wax underneath is starting to melt.
